Citizenship ceremonies are conducted throughout the year in conjunction with Council meetings or as part of special celebrations on Australia Day.

Applications for Citizenship can be made at your local Post Office. The turnaround time between application and the Shire receiving the certificate for presentation is about 6 weeks. Upon receipt of the certificate, the Shire will contact the person to arrange the formal ceremony.
