Local Planning Policies are guidelines used to assist the Shire in making decisions under the Shire of Manjimup Local Planning Scheme No. 4. The Shire is required to have due regard to the objectives and provisions of the policies before making its decision; however Local Planning Policies do not bind the Shire in determining a planning application or considering other proposals.
Planning Policies & Strategies Local Planning Scheme No. 4

Shire of Manjimup Local Planning Scheme No. 4 is the main planning control in the Shire. It zones and reserves all land within the Shire and guides its development and use. The Scheme is made up of two parts -the Scheme Text, outlining the various provisions and requirements; and the Scheme Maps, which depict the various zones and reserves.

This is a copy of the Local Planning Scheme produced from an electronic version of the Scheme held and maintained by the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC). Whilst all care has been taken to accurately portray the current Scheme provisons, no responsibility shall be taken for any ommissions or errors in this documentation. Copies of the maps associated with Local Planning Scheme No 4 can be viewed at the WAPC website. Consultation with the respective Local Government Authority should be made to view a legal version of the Scheme. Please advise the WAPC of any errors or ommissions in this document. Planning Policies & Strategies Shire of Manjimup Local Planning Strategy 2003 – 2013

The Local Planning Strategy (the Strategy) outlines the strategic land use planning direction for the Shire of Manjimup for the period 2003-2013. The Strategy provides the strategic direction for the creation of Local Planning Scheme No. 4 (the Scheme), which was gazetted on 8 December 2010.

The Strategy provides the vital background and rationale to the various land use planning zones, reserves and provisions contained in the Scheme and should be read in conjuction with it.
