Ward boundaries 2009
In 2008 the Shire of Manjimup conducted a Ward and Representation review at the request of the Department of Local Government. Public consultation was open for a six week period from 22 October 2008 to 2 December 2008. On 11 December 2009, Council endorsed the ward boundaries known as Option G (a PDF download is available here).
On 4 May 2009 the Local Government Advisory Board informed the Chief Executive Officer that the “Minister for Local Government has accepted the recommendations of the Local Government Advisory Board, that for the Shire of Manjimup the six existing ward boundaries be realigned to rectify the current imbalances in representation”.
