​​​​An ordinary election will be held on Saturday 19 October 2019 to fill the following vacancies.

Nominations Opened on Thursday, 5 September 2019

Nominations Closed​ at 4:00pm Thursday, 12 September 2019

Election packages will be sent to all electors on the local government electoral role where there is an election in their electorate.

Replacement packages can be obtained from the Shire of Manjimup prior to election day and from 8.00am to 6.00pm on election day, Saturday, 19 October 2019.

Post your vote early. Completed postal voting packages must reach the Returning Officer by 6.00pm on election day, Saturday, 19 October 2019.

You may hand deliver your package to an electoral officer at the Shire of Manjimup during business hours before election day or at the polling place Manjimup Town Hall between 8.00am and 6.00pm on election day.

Chief Polling Place: 37-39 Rose Street, Manjimup.

The count of votes will commence at 6.00pm at the Shire of Manjimup, 37-39 Rose Street, Manjimup.

An extraordinary election was held on the 17 August 2018 to fill a vacancy on the North Ward. The election was held via​​ postal vote and was run by the Western Australian Electoral Commission.

​​2017 Ordinary Election

The 2017 Local Government Elections were held on Saturday, 21 October 2017. Full results can be found here.

The Shire of Manjimup has historically run in person elections, however in an effort to improve voter participation, the Election was conducted via postal votes. This also gives people with mobility issues the opportunity to receive the Candidate profiles and ballot paper in their own home and arrange for it's delivery. Ward Representation

Your Councillors are elected​ by the community via the Local Government Elections. Elections are held every two years on the third Saturday of October. Councillors serve a four year term, thus at each ordinary election, approximately half of the eleven positions are up for election. This also means that for wards with only one elected member, ordinary elections only happen once every four years.

Each Councillor is elected to represent a ward in the district. The Shire of Manjimup is divided into 6 wards with the following division of labour;
