Holding an Event

​​​​​​The Shire of Manjimup offers support to event organisers to ensure all events are run safely, successfully and are compliant with all relevant legislation​.​ 

All events run within the Shire have the potential to contribute to the local economy, tourism, community pride and wellbeing as well as being inclusive for the whole community. 

How can we help you?

​​The Shire can assist in many different ways including:

    • advertising
    • health and safety 
    • traffic management plans
    • waste management
    • event approvals
    • volunteers

Event organisers are encouraged to contact the Shire's Events Liaison Officer at communityevents@manjimup.wa.gov.au or phone 9771 7777 for a free event consultation before submitting the required forms.

Where Do I Start?

​​Anyone planning on holding an event in the Shire of Manjimup is required to comply with the Event Policy and submit an Event Application with all relevant supporting documentation. 

​The Event Policy provides Event organisers with processes and procedures surrounding events to ensure that legislative requirements, the amenity of surrounding residents and patron safety are all upheld.
