Nom! Children is a FREE community healthy eating and cooking program designed to provide parents and carers of children aged 5 and under with the tools to create a positive eating experience for the whole family. Run over 4 sessions, each 2.5-hour session includes one hour of learning through fun, interactive activities and discussion, one hour of hands-on cooking using quick, tasty and low-cost recipes which we then share with the children.
Learn important skills including
- How to choose healthy foods for the whole family
- Healthy eating for infants and children
- Tips for making mealtimes less stressful
- How to read food labels and pack healthy snacks and lunchboxes safely
- How to plan and feed the family on a budget
Take home free recipe books, shopping bag, Let’s Feed the Family parent guide and a kid’s healthy eating plate.
When:
Week 1 - 27th & 28th August – 9:00am – 11:30am (registrations essential).
Week 2 - 17th & 18th September 9:00am – 11:30am (registrations essential).
