The majority of streetlights throughout the Shire are provided by Western Power who are responsible for supply, maintenance and upgrades. The Shire is responsible for the payment of the electricity account.
Every resident shares the responsibility of reporting faulty streetlights. Western Power aim to have streetlight faults in regional areas repaired within 9 working days. The reporting process is quick and easy.

Any requests for new streetlight installations should be forwarded initially to the Shire's Technical Services Department on 08 9771 7780 or via email to email@example.com. Approval will be subject to availability of funding. Please note streetlights are not installed for the purpose of private property security.
