Bush Fire Brigades Local Law 2023

The Shire of Manjimup has resolved to make a local law with regard to the management of bushfire brigades within the Shire of Manjimup.

The purpose of the Shire of Manjimup Bush Fire Brigades Local Law 2023 is to provide for the adequate governance of bushfire brigades throughout the Shire of Manjimup. The effect of the Local Law is to repeal the outdated By-Law and ensure the legal constitution of all bushfire brigades within the Shire of Manjimup.

A copy of the local law may be inspected at or obtained from the Shire’s Administration Office at Cnr Rose and Brockman Streets, Manjimup, between 8:15am and 4:30pm Monday to Friday, viewed on the Shire website here or at any public library within the Shire of Manjimup during normal opening hours.

Should any person or group wish to make a comment, it is required to be in writing and received by the Shire by 5pm Wednesday, 21 June 2023.
