The Shire of Manjimup advises that works are to be undertaken on Brockman Street between Rose and Bath Streets in the Manjimup Central Business District to convert Brockman Street to a one-way traffic system with additional angled parking on the southern side of the road.
Works associated with this project include the deletion of the central traffic islands, replacement of existing kerbing and road pavement, improvements to drainage infrastructure, establishment of new garden beds, accessible ramps and footpaths.
The works, will be commencing on or about Tuesday the 27 April 2021 are expected to take approximately 5-6 weeks to complete.
Whilst every effort will be made to minimise the impacts on local traffic and pedestrian movements, road and footpath closures will be required.
Further information regarding this project can be obtained by contacting the Shire's Director of Development and Regulation – Brian Robinson on 9771 7725 should you have any queries.
