Bridge Closure: Perup Rd between Balbarup Rd and Dawson Rd

As a result of the very recent bridge inspection conducted on the Perup Rd bridge near Balbarup Rd, spanning the Wilgarup River, Main Roads WA have advised the Shire that the bridge requires immediate closure until it can be suitably propped.

Propping of this bridge may take up to 14 days to complete, though all equipment and other resources have already been ordered.

As a result, the section of Perup Rd between Balbarup Rd and Dawson Rd is closed to all traffic.

However please note that until otherwise advised all of Perup Rd is closed to all Restricted Access Vehicles (RAV) until the bridge is propped. All other ‘as of right’ vehicles can use Perup Rd but will need to detour via Balbarup and Fernhill Rd.
