2027-28 Regional Events Scheme (RES) Funding Round

The 2027-28 Regional Events Scheme (RES) funding round has opened!

The RES supports eligible small and developing events across regional Western Australia, providing funding between $5,000 and $40,000 per financial year to help support the growth of regional event portfolios and drive visitation to regional communities.

A total of $1.4 million in funding is available, including $250,000 dedicated to the Regional Aboriginal Events Scheme, which supports events that showcase and celebrate Aboriginal culture through Aboriginal leadership and participation.

The application period will close at 5:00pm (AWST) on Friday 24 July 2026. Incomplete applications will not be assessed, and no additional materials can be accepted after the deadline. For full details and to apply, please visit: tourism.wa.gov.au/res.
