Notice of Public Consultation on Proposed Closure
Land Administration Act 1997
Under Section 58 of the Land Administration Act 1997, Council proposes to close an unconstructed road reserve in the vicinity of Club Road and Pump Hill Road, Pemberton.
As per the Ordinary Council Meeting of 29 July 2026, public comment is sought on the proposed closure and amalgamation of the unconstructed road reserve.
The subject road reserve is currently unconstructed and does not provide a transport, access or public utility function. The proposed closure would facilitate amalgamation with adjoining land, resolve an existing encroachment associated with an adjoining property and rationalise land tenure arrangements in the area.

Should any person or group wish to make a comment on the proposal, it is required to be in writing and received by the Shire by 5pm on Thursday, 8 October 2026.
