Council and Committee Meetings

In accordance with Section 5.23 of the Local Government Act 1995, Council and Committee Meetings are generally open to members of the public. From time to time, all or part of a meeting may be closed to the public where permitted under the Act, including for the consideration of confidential matters.

Public Participation
Council meetings provide opportunities for members of the public to engage directly with Council through public question time, deputations and petitions. Further information is available here.

Recordings and Live Streaming of Council Meetings
All public Council meetings are live streamed to provide people who cannot attend an opportunity to watch and listen to the meeting in real time. To access the live stream, please visit the Shire's YouTube channel.
