The issue date for rates for the 2026/27 financial year is 13 August 2026.

The raising of rates is governed by statutory guidelines in the Local Government Act 1995. Rate notices are sent in approximately mid-August of each year and are due 35 days from the issue of the notice. Rates can be paid in full by the due date or in four equal instalments. Dues dates for 2026-27 rates

  • 17 September 2026 - Payment in full
  • 17 September 2026 - First instalment
  • 24 November 2026 - Second instalment
  • 3 February 2027 - Third instalment
  • 13 April 2027 - Fourth Instalment

Special Payment Arrangements

The Shire of Manjimup understands the importance of managing household budgets and offers flexible payment options to make paying your rates easier.

Interest-Free Payment Plans

If you enter into a formalised payment plan with the Shire and meet your agreed payments, no interest will be charged. You can pay weekly, fortnightly, or monthly by setting up automatic recurring payments through your online banking. Please contact the Rates Officer before the due date on your notice on 08 9771 7777 or via email info@manjimup.wa.gov.au for an application.

If you are experiencing financial difficulty, assistance is available through the Shire of Manjimup Financial Hardship (Rate Relief) Policy. Contact our Rates Officer as soon as possible at 08 9771 7777 or email info@manjimup.wa.gov.au to discuss your options.
