Karen Wiedemann is a Manjimup based artist working primarily in realism, with a focus on still life and landscape. Deeply inspired by the South West’s rich natural diversity, she explores the way changes in form, light and perspective shape the visual experience. Karen works mainly in oils, alongside gouache and pastels, often using limited colour palettes. Her paintings capture quiet, fleeting moments; revealing objects, places and their reflections as they exist in a single moment in time. The artwork to the left is titled Forest Stories.
