Contemporary Western Australian artist Jo Meredith creates figurative works exploring our sense of belonging within the landscape. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts from UWA and training at ateliers in Florence, Salisbury, London and Tasmania, Jo draws inspiration from beauty, place, light, water and movement. Her creative vision reflects a deep connection to Australia’s secluded waterholes and vast horizons. She describes her work as “joyful, a celebration of life, beauty, and our connections with nature and each other.” The artwork pictured is Wild Karijini.
