The Draft Environmental Sustainability Strategy 2026 – 2031 is being advertised for public comment for the purpose of incorporating community perspectives into the final document.
The Shire of Manjimup has developed the draft Strategy to identify achievable and practical actions for the next phase of the Shire’s environmental sustainability journey. The objectives of the Strategy are to aim high in ecological sustainable development, adapting to climate change, protecting biodiversity, reducing waste, pest, weed and disease management, and community engagement.
Should any person or group wish to make a comment on the draft strategy, it is required to be in writing and received by the Shire by 5pm on 18 November 2026.
Written submissions are to be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, Shire of Manjimup and either posted to PO Box 1, Manjimup WA 6258 or emailed to submissions@manjimup.wa.gov.au
