Thank you to the volunteers that have been contributing their time and energy by tree planting at Windy Harbour. The restoration activities will help restore biodiversity in the sensitive coastal dune. The species planted will provide threatened species such as Carnaby's Black Cockatoo and other fauna with critical food sources and habitats.
There are more opportunities to help with this season’s planting. Contact the Shire to register on 9771 7777. Community planting days will be held on the 6, 7 and 20 July 2025. Events start at 10am at Windy Harbour, meeting at the Visitors Shelter.
