Graphite Road Works Update

You may have noticed the new asphalt surface on Graphite Road today — this is the first of three layers being constructed between Arnott and Finch Streets.

This initial layer has been put down to protect the underlying pavement ahead of this week’s forecast rain. You’ll notice some small ridges in the surface and gravel ramps at each end — these are temporary and will be removed when the remaining layers are completed.

Construction between Finch Street and the TAFE Access Road is scheduled to start on 18 May, ahead of the final asphalt layer being placed from Arnott Street through to the TAFE Access Road.

Traffic management remains in place while works are underway. Please follow all signage and observe reduced speed limits to keep everyone safe.
