2026/27 Community Grants Awarded!

At budget adoption earlier this month, Council awarded the 2026/27 community grants. 80 applications were supported, including:
- 22 events
- 18 requests for financial assistance
- 5 youth groups
- 35 projects
One of the recipients this year are the @Pemberton Youth in Emergency Services (YES) Cadets. Chairperson, Jamie Copeland, said ‘the funding makes a genuine difference to our ability to provide our young people with meaningful opportunities to develop their skills, confidence, leadership and understanding of emergency services, while also encouraging them to become active and contributing members of our local community’.
