Works on Graphite Road are progressing, with a sprayed chip seal being applied today, marking an important milestone in the project.
While the road will begin to look closer to completion following today's works, the sprayed seal is not the final surface. Asphalt works are scheduled for later this week, subject to weather conditions.
Road users may also notice temporary lips and gravel ramps at intersections and at the eastern and western ends of the work site. These are temporary measures associated with the staged construction works and will not form part of the finished road.
Linemarking and signage will follow shortly after the surfacing works are completed.
We appreciate the patience of road users, nearby residents and the wider community while the project has progressed and are pleased to see Graphite Road moving another significant step closer to completion.
