2026 Wheatley Coast Road construction

The 2026/2027 Wheatley Coast Road construction will commence on 14 October 2026. There will be Shire staff and machinery present on the road in the construction zone which will be situated approx 1km from South Western Highway heading towards Northcliffe.

The road will remain open with traffic management in place, but motorists may experience slight delays and are asked to drive slowly and with caution through the work site to ensure the safety of our staff and community. Construction is expected to be finalised in eight weeks, weather permitting.
