Agenda Briefing Sessions now open to the public
The community is invited to attend the Shire of Manjimup’s Agenda Briefing Sessions, which are now open to the public following an update to Council Policy 1.1.1 at the September Council meeting.
Agenda Briefing Sessions provide an opportunity for Councillors to discuss items on the draft agenda for the upcoming Ordinary Council Meeting, ask questions of Shire officers and seek further information before the meeting.
Upcoming Agenda Briefing Sessions
The remaining sessions for 2026 will be held at 9am in the Council Chambers on the following dates:
- Wednesday 21 October 2026
- Wednesday 18 November 2026
- Wednesday 9 December 2026
Sessions are held one week before each Ordinary Council Meeting.
No decisions are made during Agenda Briefing Sessions. All decisions are made by Council at the Ordinary Council Meeting. Members of the public are welcome to attend and observe proceedings, although parts of a session may be closed to the public if confidential or sensitive matters are discussed.
Viewing the briefing papers
Agenda Briefing papers are draft documents and do not represent the final Council agenda. Items may be changed, added or removed before the Ordinary Council Meeting.
Community members are encouraged to refer to the agenda for the relevant Ordinary Council Meeting for the final version of the papers.
The October Agenda Briefing papers are available here.
