Code of Conduct

Shire of Manjimup employees are guided by a Code of Conduct to embrace a minimum standard of professional conduct. The Code of Conduct is a requirement of Section 5.103 of the Local Government Act 1995 and Local Government (Rules of Conduct) Regulations 2007. It has been prepared using the requirements of the Act and also the Western Australian Local Government Association's Model Code of Conduct as a guide.

Council Members, Committee Members and Candidates are guided by the Local Government (Model Code of Conduct) Regulations 2021 to embrace a minimum standard of professional conduct. A copy of the Code of Conduct for Council Members, Committee Members and Candidates is available here.
