The Shire's annual free kerbside hard waste collection is happening this May.
Collection Dates:
- Manjimup, Deanmill, Jardee, Palgarup – from Monday 12 May
- Northcliffe, Windy Harbour, Pemberton, Browns Rd, Quinninup, Walpole – from Monday 19 May
What’s accepted:
- Furniture, mattresses, carpets, lino, household hard waste, scrap metal, whitegoods (fridges/freezers must have doors removed)
- Max limit: 3 cubic metres per property (1m x 1m x 3m)
What’s not accepted:
- General domestic waste, asbestos, e-waste, batteries, light globes, green waste, liquid waste, building materials, tyres, hazardous items & more.
- Items over 2m in length won’t be collected.
Important:
- Place items no more than 1 week before your town’s start date
- Don’t obstruct footpaths or roads
- Don’t add to someone else’s pile
- No late additions after collection starts — you risk a fine
