Respite

The centre ensures that individuals (particularly those with dementia) are in a secure, safe, stimulating and supervised environment and gives special consideration to:

• culturally diverse backgrounds;
• effective nutrition;
• medication management;
• wound care;
• oxygen therapy;
• enteric and difficult feeding issues;
• continence management;
• social and emotional support;
• personal care; and
• spiritual beliefs.

The respite wing is staffed by clinical staff when required and is accessible through private or government funding. Appointments can be made to discuss eligibility and fees on 9771 6900.
