Adoption of Cat Local Laws 2020

The Shire of Manjimup has resolved to make a local law with regard to the regulation of cat ownership within the Shire of Manjimup.

The purpose of the proposed local law is to provide for the management of cats throughout the Shire of Manjimup.

The effect of the proposed local law is to promote responsible cat ownership and manage the control of cats within the Shire of Manjimup.

A copy of the local law may be inspected at or obtained from the Shire's Administration Office at Cnr Rose and Brockman Streets, Manjimup, between 8.15am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday, viewed here, or at any public library within the Shire of Manjimup during normal opening hours.

This local law was gazetted on Thursday 17 September 2020 and will come into effect on Thursday 1 October 2020.
