Temporary Closure of Tip Shops

The continuing operation of our waste facilities (Manjimup Recycling & Refuse Centre and the transfer stations at Northcliffe, Pemberton & Walpole) is essential to the public health of all people in the Shire of Manjimup. These facilities are operated on behalf of the Shire by contractors.

In order to best protect the health and safety of waste site personnel and customers, and to maintain the highest priority functions of each site as the COVID-19 situation develops, it is now necessary to commence a staged temporary reduction of services in accordance with contingency plans. Stage 1 service reductions will begin shortly at all sites. You can assist by complying with this notice.

FROM 8AM ON FRIDAY 3 APRIL 2020:

• Tip Shops will not be available for browsing or for purchases; and
• The public must comply fully with this notice and not ask site personnel for access to Tip Shops.

If you have any concerns regarding tip shop closures, telephone the Shire of Manjimup (9771 7777) and ask to speak with the Waste Management Officer.
